Lash appointment policies
Studio Policies
Booking, cancellations, your health, aftercare, payments and the studio.
Booking and your visit
- Appointments
- The studio is private and by appointment only, booked online.
- Your consultation
- Your consultation is included with your first reservation. Your set is designed before you arrive.
- Your first visit
- A clear photo of your natural lashes is requested before your appointment, so your design is ready when you arrive.
- Wearing another technician’s set
- Book a Same-Day Consultation (£15, 20 min) so your set can be designed on the day. Or book a Clean Slate on its own, then send your photos ready for mapping before your full set.
- Removal
- Clean Slate (£20, 20 min) removes your lash extensions, with a refreshing cleanse to reset your natural lashes.
Cancellations and late arrivals
- Cancellations
- Please give at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel. Cancelling after that means you lose your deposit. If you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment, a fee of 50% of the service booked applies, with your deposit deducted from it.
- Changing your appointment
- You can reschedule your set once, as long as you give at least 48 hours’ notice. Any further change needs a cancellation and a new booking.
- Late arrivals
- A 15 minute grace period applies. After that, your set has to be cancelled, because it can’t be completed to the standard we want in the time left. A fee of 50% of your total balance applies for the time reserved and lost, with your deposit deducted. In this case your deposit can’t be carried over to a future booking.
- No-shows
- If you don’t attend without notice, a charge of 50% of the service booked applies, with your deposit deducted, because the slot can’t be filled. Any outstanding balance must be paid before you can book again.
- If we need to cancel
- If the studio ever has to cancel or move your appointment, we will tell you as soon as we can and your deposit will be refunded in full or moved to a new date, whichever you prefer.
Your health and suitability
- Patch tests
- If you are new to lash extensions, or have sensitive eyes or skin, we recommend a patch test at least 48 hours before your appointment. Message the studio to arrange one.
- Allergies and eye conditions
- Please tell us before your appointment about any allergies, sensitivities, eye conditions, recent eye surgery or infections. If extensions are not right for you on the day, we will not go ahead, for your safety.
- Pregnancy
- Lash extensions can usually be applied during pregnancy, but hormonal changes can affect how long they last. Please let us know when you book.
- Age
- Lash extensions are for clients aged 16 and over. Clients aged 16 or 17 need written consent from a parent or guardian, who must come to the first appointment.
Aftercare and revives
- Aftercare
- You will leave with your complimentary aftercare bag, thoughtfully made to help you care for your new lashes. Following the aftercare advice keeps your set looking its best and your natural lashes healthy.
- Revive appointments
- Revives are for sets applied by The Ffrench Lash, within two weeks of your full set. Otherwise, please book a Clean Slate and a full set.
- After two weeks
- If it has been more than two weeks since your full set, a new full set is needed, so your lashes can be designed and applied properly.
Payments and refunds
- Deposits
- A deposit is taken when you book, to secure your reservation. It goes towards the cost of your appointment.
- Paying the balance
- The balance is paid at the end of your appointment.
- If something isn’t right
- If you have a concern about your set, please contact us within 72 hours of your appointment. We will look at it with you and, where needed, put it right free of charge.
- Refunds
- Because each set is a personal service designed and applied for you, completed appointments are not refunded. This does not affect your rights under UK consumer law.
In the studio
- Guests and children
- To keep the studio calm and private, please come to your appointment on your own. We are not able to look after children during your visit.
- Photos of your lashes
- We may take photos of your lashes for your records. We only share them, for example in our portfolio or on Instagram and TikTok, if you have agreed to it. See our privacy policy.
- Questions or concerns
- If you have a question or a complaint about any part of your visit, email studio@theffrenchlash.com and we will reply as soon as we can.
