Lash extensions for your wedding mean one less thing to think about on the morning: no mascara, no false lashes coming loose, and lashes that look the same in the last photo as the first. The key is timing and trying your set before the day. Start early, and book your consultation well before the wedding.
Why brides choose lash extensions
- No mascara to smudge during the vows or run in the rain.
- No strip lashes lifting at the corners by the evening.
- A look designed around your eyes, your make-up and your dress.
- Lashes that last through the honeymoon too.
Try your set before the wedding
If you have never had lash extensions, have a full set some weeks before your wedding. It shows you how your eyes respond, how the look photographs and how you feel wearing it, with time to adjust the design. If you are new to lash extensions, or have sensitive eyes or skin, we recommend a patch test at least 48 hours before your appointment.
When to book your wedding set
We suggest your full set a few days before the wedding, so it is fresh and settled on the day. Plan your dates carefully. Revives are for sets applied by The Ffrench Lash, within two weeks of your full set, so if your trial set is more than two weeks old by your wedding week you will need a new full set rather than a revive. Full sets take 2 hours 35 minutes, so build a calm morning or afternoon into your week.
Choosing your bridal look
Most brides want lashes that look like the best version of their own. Our four signature sets range from the most delicate, Teddy Bare (£90), with its soft mascara finish, to the sleek, high-shine Gloss (£110). Teddy (£95) and Vogue (£100) sit between them. Bring photos of your bridal make-up and tell us about your dress and venue at your consultation, and we will design the set around them. Read which lash set suits you to see each look.
On the day
- Tell your make-up artist you are wearing extensions, so no mascara or lash curler is used.
- Choose oil-free make-up removers for the evening.
- Keep your hands off your lashes during the emotional moments.
Our guide to make-up with lash extensions is worth sharing with your make-up artist.
Questions brides ask
How far ahead should I book?
As early as you can, so you can fit in a first set and still have your wedding set a few days before the day.
Can bridesmaids book too?
Yes. The studio is private and by appointment only, so each guest books their own appointment. Get in touch through the contact form for wedding and event enquiries.
What if I want something different from my usual set?
Tell us at your consultation. Your lash map is redrawn around the look you want for the day.
Lashes for the whole day
A designed set, booked at the right time, is one of the easiest parts of wedding planning. Compare lash extensions and a lash lift, or book your consultation to start.
